Jaipur (JPN\Bureau): The case against Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre in connection with black buck poaching is pending in the Rajasthan High Court. Salman is also facing trial pertaining to keeping illegal arms. This is preventing lower courts to proceed with the hearings against the accused.

An important file pertaining to the killing of two chinkaras in Bhavad village during the shooting of Hum Saath Saat Hain is also subjudiced with the high court. This is the reason why no decision has yet been taken by the Jodhpur’s session court on Salman Khan’s appeal. He has not been able to appear in the court owing to his busy schedule.

Since Salman Khan filed an appeal in the session’s court against the verdict in the Bhavad hunting incident announced five years back, he has not appeared before the court even for once.

Salman was awarded 1-year imprisonment by a Chief Judicial Magistrate on 17 February 2006 following which he filed an appeal against the conviction. He was released on bail and his verdict was postponed on the grounds that he would appear before the session’s court during the hearings.
