New Delhi: Supreme Court sentenced five years jail term to film star actor Sanjay Dutt on March 21 for illegal arms possession during the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and now the actor, who has been asked by the Apex Court to surrender soon to complete rest part of his jail term, has announced to surrender on 18th April.

With just 12 days to his incarceration, sources said that Sanju Baba has asked all his producers and directors to complete the shooting of his films by April 17. At present, Dutt is busy finishing the shoot for TP Agarwal's film Policegiri.

However, the actor has already completed Apoorva Lakhia's Zanjeer. In the remake of 1973’s Amitabh starrer Zanjeer, Sanjay will be seen as Sher Khan, the role played by Pran in original version of the movie. The actor has already opted out of Rajkumar Gupta's Ghanchakkar, in which he was supposed to play himself in a cameo.

He also wants to finish the dubbing for these films between April 13 and April 17," said a source close to the actor. Besides this, the actor also completed few scenes of Karan Johar’s movie Ungli.

During his visit to Madhya Pradesh on Friday, the film star reached Guna and visited Janki Mandir. His brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav also accompanied him. Later, he also went to Datia, where he worshipped and offered prayers in famous ‘Baglamukhi Devi Mandir’.  Even there he performed proper rituals at Pitamber Peeth.
