Infrastructure financing firm IDFC went out of the benchmark NSE Nifty from today and was replaced by Bosch. Shares of IDFC too ended 0.98 percent higher at Rs 154.55 despite its exit from Nifty.

Bosch's inclusion in Nifty was announced on April 29, 2015 and since then the stock has gained over 9 percent. The changes came into effect from Friday, in line with the announcement made late last month by India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), an NSE group firm that manages Nifty and other indices.

The NSE Nifty ended at the day at 8,433.65, up 114.65 points.
