Box Hill is a summit of the North Downs in Surrey, approximately 19 miles from south west of London. An estimated 850,000 people visit Box Hill each year for camping, cycling and outdoor activities.

The area will feature prominently in the Olympic Road Cycling Road Race route, with men nine laps and women completing two laps of the Box Hill circuit.

Spectators with tickets for Box Hill will have access to roadside viewing areas along Zig Zag Road and Donkey Green. After the Games the temporary overlay will be removed and Box Hill will be returned to National Trust which owns and manage the Hills.
