Although 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' witnessed a low opening of around Rs 1.1 crore on Friday, the movie's box office collection picked up pace on weekend and successfuly managed to gross  around Rs 6.6 crores. The movie is successfuly garnering praise and positive reviews from the critics and audiences.

Ayushmann Khurrana-Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' is a low budget film that narrates a heart-warming tale of two imperfect people coming together only to find eternal love.

The movie has grossed a fair collection at the box office with its release only in 770 screens till now. The movie will be hitting more screens by the end of this week for the extended Holi weekend.

While Nana Patekar's 'Ab Tak Chhhappan 2' is screened in 1400 screens till now has managed to earn around Rs 5 crore only. Although it collected  Rs 1.4 crore in its opening day but its total weekend collections are not higher then 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'.

The movie reviews for 'Ab Tak Chhhappan 2' has not been so great and hence the movie has failed to gross a good business  at the box office.
