Patna: The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) on Monday launched the final phase of its 'pol khol (expose) yatra' against alleged corruption and financial irregularities committed by the NDA government headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

BPCC Chief Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser left with the party leaders and workers from the party headquarters at Sadakat Ashram to Bhagalpur where they will mobilise the people against corruption and irregularities in the AC/DC bills by the NDA government, BPCC spokesman M L Verma said.

The state Congress leaders will also visit Purnia and Saharsa districts over the next two days to apprise the people about the alleged plunder of public wealth by state ministers and officials, he said.

The Congress's 'pol khol' yatra will conclude on June 13 at Saharsa, the home district of the BPCC chief, Verma said.
