Los Angeles (Agencies): With her latest single ruling the charts currently, Britney Spears has now expressed her keenness to step into an acting career.

She wants to do a movie with directors Todd Phillips or Judd Apatow as she is a big fan of both filmmakers who are famous for their comedy projects.

 "I love to act and would love to be in a Todd Philips or Judd Apatow movie (sic)," she tweeted.

The pop star made her movie debut with the critically panned dud 'Crossroads' in 2002.

Todd is presently working on the sequel to his 2009 comedy 'The Hangover' while Judd has a number of projects in hand including 'Bridesmaids' and 'Wanderlust' coming up.

Although she has starred in only one movie so far but the 29-year-old, has appeared on the small screen in 'How I Met Your Mother', 'Will and Grace' and of lately in a 'Glee' episode dedicated to her.

In the meanwhile she is working on her seventh album titled 'Femme Fatale', her first album in almost three years.
