As per the relevant news reports, the Bihar Intermediate Result 2016 was declared in a brief ceremony at Board headquarters in Patna.

In 2015, the Bihar Intermediate Science Result was declared on 20 May 2015 for near about 6.3 lakh students. The total pass percentage for Bihar 12th Science Result last year was 89%. In terms of gender wise performance, girls outshined boys; their respective pass percentage was 90.11% and 88.58%. About the BSEB: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is the prime educational board of the State. Since its establishment the Board has been involved in conducting examinations at Secondary and Intermediate level. The Board has also been witnessing increased student participation every year. The examinations are held in the month of February/ March and results are declared in May. The supplementary examination for fail students is held in August/ September. The examinations are held on the basis of the course or syllabus prescribed by the State Government.
