While BSNL NE 1 Circle covers states of Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura, the dates for launching the next-gen networks are different for different states, she added.

According to the official, 4000 users in Shillong city will benefit from May 1 onwards depending on their upgradation of their telephone sets and in Tripura the same is being launched on Thursday.
