"The Budget session of the state Assembly is going on and the SP government should have presented the budget instead of vote-on-account. The move shows that the state government was keeping Lok Sabha polls in mind and would table its budget after elections", Leader of opposition, Swami Prasad Maurya told reporters in Lucknow.
Opposition parties have been criticizing SP government, which will be presenting vote-on-account on Friday instead of the Budget.
"The SP government has nothing to do with the development of the state. Its objective is to distribute money meant for development among its men", Maurya alleged.
He also criticized the SP government over poor law and order in the state.
