New Delhi: With a paunch, bucktooth and dark complexioned look, Emraan Hashmi is all set to break his romantic and Casanova image with his upcoming flick ‘Shanghai’. Though he delivered three back-to-back hits with ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’, ‘Murder 2’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ and he has become one of the most bankable actors of the industry but he no longer wants to be judged for his roles. But through this film ‘Shanghai’ which is a political thriller, Emraan wants to change his serial kisser persona. While chatting with Dainik Jagran, Emraan unfolds myriad experiences about his film journey.

Promoting his latest flick ‘Shanghai’, he said that this movie will describe about politics and how it impacts common man. “Shanghai is worth watching because this would prove a landmark movie for youths,” he added.

Asked about his serial kisser tag, he said, “I want to change my image with Shaghai because fans want me in different shades, so this film is a sort of experiment for me.”

In his candid expressions for not spending much time for reading newspapers and periodicals, Hashmi said, “I hammer out some time for reading short stories and books for improving my knowledge in Hindi and Urdu which helps me in delivering dialogues for movies.”
