Buddhist monk commits suicide in Bodh Gaya

Bodh Gaya: A Buddhist monk in Bodh Gaya, religious site and place of pilgrimage associated with the Mahabodhi Temple Complex in Gaya district, on Wednesday committed suicide by hanging himself by the neck from a tree.
Bodh Gaya police station in-charge TN Tiwari said, “He was from Tibet. He was living in room number 111 at Bodh Gaya’s Nigma Monastery.”
The police further stated that he was mentally ill.
