Jaipur: Union Minister Jitendra Singh has been summoned by Bundi district court on August 19 in connection with a property case filed by Goswami Vittalnath. Bundi Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate Riddhima Sharma issued the notice to the minister in connection with ownership dispute of Raghuveer Bhawan, located opposite to the Ratan Burj in Bundi.

Raghuveer Bhawan, which has temple, residences, wells and open fields, was the property of Sobhagaya Kanwar, wife of the former king of Bundi state Raja Raghuveer Singh.

On her request, Raghuveer Singh donated Raghuveer Bhawan to Goswami Brijbhushan Lal of Chopasnik, Jodhpur through a registered donation letter in August 2, 1951.

As Lal used to stay in Jodhpur, Raghuveer Singh had been taking care of the property and performing the religious rites at the temple inside Raghuveer Bhawan. After his death, his son Ranjeet Singh was given the charge.

The present Minister of State for Home Affairs Jitendra Singh, who is related to the royal family of Raghuveer Singh, was given the responsibility of taking care of Raghuveer Bhawan.

The petitioner, Goswami Vittalnath, has accused him of trying to change the original structure of the building and not performing his duty at the temple.
