Chandigarh: The Haryana government said the strike call given by employees of the state roadways in support of their various demands failed to make much impact in the state on Thursday.

No untoward incident was reported from any part of the state, a spokesman of the Haryana Transport Department said here. Bus services remained normal across the state except in Yamunanagar where it was affected for some time, he said.

The Chief Minister had announced a slew of incentives for the employees after holding talks with representatives of their unions recently, the spokesman said.

Some of their demands were under consideration of the government, he said.
