Ramgarh (Dumka): Dozens of businessmen in the local Ramgarh market are living in fear as the sheds of their shops have become dilapidated which may lead to some major mishap.

According to the sources, as many as five sheds were constructed here by the market committee of Bhagalpur at the cost of Rs two lakh almost two decades ago.

The sheds which were constructed by the then Sarpanch of Ramgarh late Prabhu Dayal Agrawal through a proper tender are in a very poor shape today as no repairing work has been carried out by the hat authorities since the time it was constructed.

A number of people doing business here namely Santosh Kumar , Bhagwan Prasad Shah , Rajesh Kumar including Dashrath Shah have said that the roof of their shop leaks during rainy season and are afraid that a major accident may take place any time if they are not repaired timely.
