Hema was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award by superstar Shah Rukh Khan at an award show on Wednesday night and the actress got emotional.

"Looking bk over the years, it is the film industry which has given me name & fame here, all over the world & sustains it even today," she tweeted on Thursday.

"I can never forget the warmth of this film industry where I grew up & spent the best years of my life - I have a lot to be grateful for!," the 66-year-old added.

The "Dream Girl" star made her acting debut with "Sapno Ka Saudagar" in 1968. She will be soon seen in "Sholay" fame director Ramesh Sippy's "Shimla Mirch".
