New Delhi: Good news for Delhiites as Monsoon is going to hit the capital by the end of this week. Meanwhile, temperature has slided down 30 degrees Celsius mark.

However; it went up 40 degree mark again on Wednesday and was recorded at 41.2 and 29.2 degrees respectively as highest and lowest temperature.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department sources, presently monsoon is concentrated over Navasari, Satna, Varanasi and Gorakhpur regions and is likely to be active in MP, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh in next one or two days.

Earlier, the metrological department had predicted a good rainfall in Delhi and in its adjoining areas between July 4-July 8 leading to further big fall in temperature.
