Ramchandra Paswan represents Samastipur in the Lok Sabha. He explained that Modi wave will hardly work against caste equation.
On the sidelines of a programme in Varanasi, the younger brother of Union Minister and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan predicted that traditional caste equation will dominate the Bihar elections as it suits on the state's turf.
"In Bihar, 'development' and 'farmer issues' fail to create buzz," he added.
In the upcoming elections, 'caste factor' will be trump card, that is why 'Dalit' and 'Mahadalit' based politics is going on there, said the LJP leader. Lashing out at RJD, JD(U) and Congress, he said, “People of Bihar have understood every thing and NDA will form a majority government in the state.”
He added that Ram Vilas Paswan was offered Chief Ministerial post against Nitish Kumar by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during National Democratic Alliance government at Centre but he kept himself aside from the race.
On Manjhi episode, he claimed that former chief minister's politics is out of track. Manjhi is playing 'Mahadalit' card, added the LJP leader.
He said that the LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan along with party's parliamentary board chief Chirag Paswan will address the 'Mahadalit' conclave in Varanasi in April to widen its vote base in Uttar Pradesh.
