According to sources, fathers of the rape victims, another family member and a witness were brought to undergo polygraph test at Central Forensic Science Laboratory in CGO complex in the national capital.

The tests will reportedly be conducted till Wednesday for which the CBI has already taken the consent of the four persons.

The agency is presently probing all possible angles, including ‘honour killing’, based on the preliminary findings. According to sources, the CBI has said that they are not doubting the claims made by the families of the victims but in order to develop a flawless case, the agency needs to test the veracity of their statements.

The bodies of the two girls were found hanging from a tree in Badaun village a day after they went missing on May 27. Their families alleged that the victims were gang-raped and then murdered.
