Jaipur: In a major development, the Central bureau of Investigation (CBI) has come across major leads revealing shocking details in the mysterious disappearance of government nurse Bhanwari Devi.

After the recent anonymous letter claiming Bhanwari to be still alive, the CBI has got some strong links establishing that she has been killed.

According to the sources, the CBI has learnt that the nurse was allegedly burnt alive in a lime kiln in Pipar area of Jodhpur.

Acting on a tip off, the CBI team inspected the lime kiln belonging to panchayat committee member, Goverdhan Ram Choudhary in Sojat, a city near Jhodpur on Thursday.

It is believed that the major clue in the mysterious kindnapping case came after investigating the area. However, neither the CBI officials nor the state administration is ready to comment on the entire episode at this stage.

While talking to the reporters, Rajasthan Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal said “CBI is investigating the case and we will solve it soon.”

The CBI and state police are on a lookout for key suspects Sohabuddin and Sahiram Bishnoi. Meanwhile, the CBI team has interrogated the girlfriend of Sohabuddin to find leads of him. It is worth mentioning that Sohabuddin has strong political connections.

In a statement to CBI, Amarchand, husband of Bhanwari Devi has said that he has been receiving life threatening phone calls. He has provided his call details to the investigating agency.

Amarchand also informed that he was getting phone calls from the Congress MP Malkhan Singh Vishnoi.

It is noteworthy that Bhanwari had recently visited Switzerland with Malkhan.

Amarchand has also alleged Bhanwari’s relations with Former Water Resources Minister, Mahipal Maderna. Moreover, he has accused him of assault, kidnapping and murdering Bhanwari.

Bhanwari had disappeared on September 1 amidts reports that she had a CD, allegedly showing her in objectionable position with Mahipal Maderna, who has been sacked after in a delayed-action by the Chief Minister.
