Ranchi: The CBI on Tuesday issued red corner notice against Sanjay Chaudhari, a close aide of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Madhu koda, in connection with disproportionate assets case. The CBI has sent the notice to Interpol for further action.

On the basis of the CBI notice, the Interpol would demand the Dubai administration to hand over Chaudhari to them.
Chaudhari was a close advisor of Madhu Koda in his alleged siphoning of public money and helped him in investing the illegally earned money. Apart from Koda, his close aide Viniod Sinha, Manoj Punamiya, Arvind Vyas, Sinha’s brother and others are in jail.

Earlier, all efforts of the CBI to arrest Sanjay Chaudhari went in vain. Before issuing red corner notice, CBI had released an arrest warrant against him. Having failed to nab Chaudhari, the CBI declared him an absconder.
