Lucknow: In a bid to involve youths of the country in crusade against corruption, the CBI has decided to run a state-wide awareness campaign for students. Superintendent of Police in CBI anti-corruption bureau, Sanjay Ratn, started this campaign by establishing a communication with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya here.

Sanjay Ratn interacted with the students of 12th class, Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomti Nagar and made them aware of the CBI’s motive. In an hour-long session, he talked about CBI’s work areas and its functioning methods.

He also talked about the Central departments where the CBI is authorized to investigate. He made the students aware of their responsibilities and told the students that their initiative will not only eradicate graft but also create a clean and healthy society.

Following a long term vision on corruption battle, the CBI has further plans to interact with more students especially, students of class 12th and above as they will be the future of the country and make them aware of graft and how to contact the CBI.
