Nainital: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the forgery case of yoga guru Ramdev’s close aide Balakrishna is far from success as he was produced in the court on Thursday.

While hearing to the petition of Balakrishna, Justice Tarun Agarwal of Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday fixed October 12 as the next date of hearing in case involving use of fake certificate for procuring passport.

“I am being framed in the political web as yoga guru and I are standing firm to support the fight against corruption and black money,” said Balakrishna.

Earlier on July 29, the high court had stayed Balakrishna's arrest and asked him to cooperate with the CBI investigations.

Moreover, the court has also asked yoga guru's aide to appear before it on September 15.

Balakrishna had gone ‘missing’ on July 24, a day after the CBI had filed a case against him on charges of forgery regarding use of fake certificates for procuring passport.

However, he re-surfaced on July 29 only after the High Court stayed his arrest.
