The resuts of the other regions is supposed to be declared tomorrow, that is, on May 20, 2014. So students from the other regions would have to wait a tad bit longer compared to their counterparts in Trivandrum and Chennai.

The overall pass percentage of Chennai region in 2013 was  99.87percent. Girls performed better than boys in the Chennai region.

CBSE Results 2014: Central Board of Secondary Education ,CBSE conducted CBSE Class 10 examination 2014 in the month of March is likely to declare cbse class 10th result/cbse board result 2014 on 20th May 2014. Candidates who appeared for CBSE Class 10 examination 2014 may.

This year a total of 10,29,874 candidates had registered for the examination out of which 6,03,064 were boys and 4,26,810 were girls. This figure shows an overall increase of 9.32 per cent in the total number of students in comparison to 9,42,035 students last year.

The examination was conducted by the board in 300 schools and 78 centres.Students are requested to collect their original certificates from the respective schools post declaration of CBSE Class 10 exam results 2014 .

This year around 19,202 foreign students appeared for the CBSE class 10 board examinations in contrast to 17,551 students in 2013. On the other hand, 12,210 foreign students appeared for the CBSE class 12 board examinations in comparison to 11,119 students in 2013. Also a total of 3,180 special category candidates sat for the Class 10 exams this year, with 452 Visually Impaired, 788 Dyslexic, 232 Hearing Impaired/Mute, 1,527 Physically Handicapped, 161 Spastic and 20 Autistic. For the Class 12 exams, 2,453 special category candidates had registered, out of which 388 Visually Impaired, 452 Dyslexic, 167 Hearing Impaired/Mute, 1,308 Physically Handicapped, 128 Spastic and 10 Autistic.

According to reports received , National Informatics Center (NIC) department of information technology, Ministry of communication and Information technologies, Govt of India has notified to help the board  with technical problems related to the result declaration this year due to heavy traffic expected  in the official site.
CBSE Result 2014: The Central Board of Secondary Education, also referred to as CBSE board, is expected to declare Secondary CBSE class 10 results for the session 2013-14 on 20th May. The CBSE students can check their CBSE results on the official website of the CBSE education board once CBSE result is declared. The CBSE board examinations were held in the month of March and were extended to April due to Lok Sabha elections. CBSE also provides an option for students to check results apart from their website, through SMS.

With CBSE set to announce results for Class 10th and 12th by May-end, Students who gave Class 10th examinations this year can send the message SMS@cbse10 to 51115 to get their scores. The service is live on mobile operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Tata Docomo and Re 1 is charged for each message.

The CBSE also initiated the continuous and comprehensive Evaluation (CCI) system exclusively in the history of the board in the year of 2011. Board furnish to all Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya's, Kendriya vidyalayas's (KV) and schools recognized by the central government under private schools.
