CBSE (cbse.nic.in) : The Central Board of Secondary Education, will today announce CBSE class 12th result 2014 , CBSE 12th Board Result 2014 at 11AM pertaining to Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna and Guwahati Regions . Results will be avaliable on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.A total of 10,29,874 candidates registered for the exams this year, out of which 6,03,064 were boys and 4,26,810 were girls.


The Central Board of Secondary Education will publish CBSE 12th Results 2014 pertaining to Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna and Guwahati Regions today at 11AM  confrimed by KK Choudhury who is the controller of examinations however In continuation to the earlier notification dated 27th May, 2014 it is informed by CBSE that the result of Senior School Certificate Examination 2014 (Class XII) pertaining to Dehradun and
Delhi regions of the Board shall be declared on 29th May, 2014 at 11:00 AM as per the official notification.There was a lot of speculation that the results were to be announced for all regions today however it was rumoured. The long wait for Students who have appeared in CBSE Class 12th Board Examinations 2014 is now over as CBSE will now publish Class 12(XII) results shortly.

Earlier on May 26, CBSE announced class 12th results for Trivandrum and Chennai where percentage for  Trivandrum region was 94.26 percent and around 91.63 for Chennai region.In both regions girls were able to surpass boys in CBSE Class 12 results 2014.




CBSE has notified that this year onwards there will be a change in the procedure for verification of marks and the same shall be displayed shortly. The applications for verification will be entertained online and not offline, informed the Board.

Highlights of CBSE CLASS 12th Result 2013

  • 9, 42, 035 candidates had registered for Class XII examination in 2013
  • Chennai once again put up the best performance with a pass percentage of 91.83
  • Over 82 percent students cleared the 2013 Class XII CBSE examinations
  • Girls had outshone boys with pass percentage of 87.98 as compared to 77.78 percent of boys

The results can also be availed via Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The charge for IVRS per roll no. will be Rs. 0.30 per minute. Results can also be accessed through SMS service. The SMS charge for each roll no. will be Rs.1.00.Students wiill have to SMS with their roll number to 57766 (for BSNL), 58888111 (for Tata Docomo), 58888111 (for Aircel and other numbers)
