Speaking after hoisting the national flag at the BJP headquarters, he described the Kishtwar Hindu-Muslim clashes as a threat to national security.

"There are some undesirable elements in the country who stand on Indian soil and shout 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans. It is a matter of worry when such things are ignored," Rajnath Singh said.

"This is a threat to India's sovereignty. The present government is not taking this challenge as seriously as it should. The government should take determined steps and create a situation so that no one dares to shout slogans hailing another country,” he said.
