New Delhi: In a veiled attack on the Central Government, Team Anna on Wednesday said that it should take lessons from Uttarakhand government in safeguarding public interest and fighting against corruption.

Hailing the passing of Lokayukta Bill in Uttarakhand, Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal said, “The Central government should take lessons from Uttarakhand CM BC Khanduri on public welfare.”

He said, “If a person’s appeal is not heard even in his second request, it would be deemed as an act of corruption.”
