Gopeshwar (Chamoli):  Improper preparations often lead to doomsday for any effort and keeping that fact in mind, the Chamoli district administration has come up with a proposal to provide free coaching to the aspirants of civil service examinations.  The proposed move is praiseworthy as aspirants of the region lack proper preparation due to their poor financial condition and geographical setbacks.

In order to realise their dreams, the district authorities have decided to take help of top officials of the district including college professors, PCS and engineering officers in the ambitious plan.

District Magistrate of Chamoli Dr Ranjit Kumar Sinha, District Development Officer Dr V Shanmugam, Superintendent of Police Janmeyjay Khanduri will provide the required tips to the aspirants in their preparations.

Among other top officials who have volunteered to take classes include District Employment Officer Pravin Goswami, general manager of the district centre of industries Shikhar Saxena, Social Welfare Officer PB Singh and District Information Officer Nitin Upadhyay.

Many other bureaucrats including prominent and renowned personalities will be part of this charitable plan.

However, to get enrolment in the free civil services coaching, aspirants will have to pass a test conducted by the officers. Before launching the plan, officers have been conducting workshops to make the candidates aware of the civil services competition.

According to the top officers, the plan to launch free civil services coaching aims at providing better guidelines to those brilliant aspirants who are fighting economic odds.
