New York: A luxury champagne maker has claimed that he has created the world's most expensive bottle after encrusting the logo with a 19-carat diamond worth 1.8 million dollars.

The Gout de Diamants' Superman style signature logo, handcrafted from 18-carat solid gold, sits in the center of a single flawless deep-cut white diamond that weighs 19 carats, reported a newspaper.

The bubbly bottle was produced for an unnamed private client.

The label, engraved with the client's name, is also hewn from 18-carat solid white gold.

UK designer Alexander Amosu, the creator of the one-of-a-kind bottle, said that the sparkling wine is a blend of Grand Cru Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which offers a floral, refreshing and creamy texture and ends with a light and elegant finish.
