New Delhi, Jan 29 (Agencies): 'Chandrakanta', which used to be the popular 1995 TV show is making a combeck on small screen with the story of prince Virendra Singh and princess Chandrakanta's children.
The new show, titled 'Kahani Chandrakanta Ki' will start airing on Sahara One in March this year.

The new story is an adaption from Devaki Nandan Khatri's second novel 'Chandrakanta Santati' which would be directed by Sunil Agnihotri. Sunil has also directed the original.

"The focus has now shifted to the next generation but the fantasy elements remain the same. The shape-shifting aiyyars, love, betrayal and royal politics will be played on a bigger canvas this time. We have introduced some changes from the original novel to make it more appealing to the young audience," Agnihotri said.
