Los Angeles: 'Charlie's Angles' actress Drew Barrymore is set to take the director's chair again for her upcoming project 'Heist Society'.

The 36-year-old has directed a movie before 'Whip It' and will team up with Warner Bros. to produce and direct the film an adaptation of a novel by Ally Carter, reports said.

The movie follows the life of a teenager and her struggle to save her father from a crime he has been accused of but didn't commit.

The actress is re-teaming up with the writer of the film 'Whip It', Shauna Cross, for the movie.

Barrymore has already made her mark in executive producing, though that has largely been on films she's acted in.

She will also produce the TV reboot of 'Charlie's Angels' the film series of which she starred in last decade.
