East Delhi: During the hearing of the pending disproportionate assets case against former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala on Tuesday, judge of special CBI court PS Teji ordered for the transfer of the case to the court of Additional Sessions Judge Rajeev Mehra.

Chautala was present in the court along with his advocate SK Saxena, Anil Rathi and Amit Sahni during the hearing. After marking attendance of Om Prakash Chautala and witness former MLA Karan Singh Dalal, Additional Sessions Judge Rajeev Mehra postponed the next hearing till October 19.

For the record, the CBI had filed a chargesheet in disproportionate assets case against Chautala in 2006. In its complaint, it had said that during his tenure, the former Haryana CM amassed collected property worth Rs 1467 crore.
