CBSE to be Declared CBSE Class 12th result 2014 / CBSE XII Result 2014, CBSE Plus Two result 2014 / CBSE board Class 12th examinations Results 2014 today ie. May 27. A total of 10,29,874 candidates registered for the exams this year, out of which 6,03,064 were boys and 4,26,810 were girls. A lot of speculations about the date of result declaration have been made ever since the examinations got over. They are likely on Monday, that is April 26, the students will be able to view the results. CBSE 12th results will be declared for candidates of all streams i.e. Humanities, Commerce and Science streams tomorrow, however official notification regarding the exact time of declaration is yet to come from the Board.The official website where the results can be checked is www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and jagranjosh.com

The results can also be accessed through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The charge for IVRS per roll no. will be Rs. 0.30 per minute. Results can also be accessed through SMS service. The SMS charge for each roll no. will be Rs.1.00.

The schools can get the entire results by entering their respective school codes and email-ids after registering themselves to the websites- www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in .

1, 02, 9874students have registered this year for the Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII), a significant rise of 9.32 percent over 2013. The board conducted the examinations all over the country between March 1 and April 17 this year.

HIGHLIGHTS OF CLASS XII RESULTS 2013

* 9, 42, 035 candidates had registered for Class XII examination in 2013
* Chennai once again put up the best performance with a pass percentage of 91.83.
* Over 82 percent students cleared the 2013 Class XII CBSE examinations.
* Girls had outshone boys with pass percentage of 87.98 as compared to 77.78 percent of boys.

CBSE's marking scheme has witnessed a change in the last five years. It has introduced grading system instead of the traditional marking system in order to check suicidal deaths and depression among students. Under the new Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system, students will be assigned grades instead of marks. The Board claims that the CCE helps in reducing stress of students by - identifying learning progress of students at regular time intervals on small portions of content.

The students are eagerly waiting for the declaration of the results. The board has carried several initiatives to counsel the students. It is running several stress buster programmes on its website too. For those who have failed to secure passing marks or want to improve their grades need not worry. The can reappear for compartment or improvement examination. From this year, the number of attempts for Improvement of Performance for Class X is one. The number of chances for Compartment for Class XII is three. According to the CBSE, the candidates can appear for the Improvement of Performance attempt in July as per the option exercised for the main examination held in March the same year.

However, for candidates who have appeared for the 2012 examination or before and placed in the category COMPARTMENT/ELIGIBLE FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE shall get upto five chances.

This year, the board has also introduced facilities to schools to generate online Roll Number wise List of Candidates appearing in Class X and XII examination 2014.
