The Bollywood actor says that the theme of movie is such that the whole family can sit together to watch it and enjoy.

Releasing on August 9, director Rohit Shetty's “Chennai Express” brings together the hit pair of SRK and Deepika Padukone once again on the big screen after “Om Shanti Om“.

SRK has been a part of hits like "Deewana", "Darr", "Baazigar" and "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge". The actor affirms that his films are meant for the masses.

"All my films are for the masses and Chennai Express is no different." SRK said on Sunday while promoting his film in the national capital.

Rohit Shetty has been actively making films for the past 10 years and gave hits like the "Golmaal" series. "Chennai Express" is Shah Rukh's first film with Shetty.
"Rohit's films have a variety. Comedy, drama, romance, action, he’s got everything. Now Chennai Express is a comedy film and a love story, but it's definitely not like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It's a family entertainer. There's a little action too. It's something that whole family can sit down and watch together," he said.

Speaking on promoting the film, Shah Rukh said, “I have recently got a surgery done. But I strongly feel that every film requires right marketing and promotions. Marketing depends on the kind of films. We didn't promote My Name Is Khan that much. Yashji (Yash Chopra) expired before the release of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, but we promoted 'Ra One' extensively worldwide.”
