Raipur: In a move to expedite the industrial growth in Chhattisgarh, several companies signed MoU with state government to set up their industries worth Rs 70,000 crore.

Top companies like SAIL, GAZ Auto, GMR, Unitech, Ambience group, Hindustan Copper and Azoor Power Ltd have agreed to set up their units in the state.
Real estate Company Amrapali Group, SAIL, Ambience group, GAZ Auto have inked an MoU worth Rs 10,000 cr, Rs 3,300 cr, Rs10,700 cr  and Rs 1,640 cr respectively.

Similarly, GRM Group, Sahara Group, Hindustan Coppers have sealed MoU worth Rs 10,000 cr, Rs 10,000,  Rs1,200  cr respectively.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Raman Singh said that amid the battered financial condition at the national level Chhattisgarh has emerged as a ray of hope for the country.
