Raipur: It is said that naxals who have waged a war against state administration in Chhattisgarh are recruiting even minors to use them as shields.

In this connection, Bastar Superintendent of Police, KL Meena said on Wednesday that the naxals had paced up the recruitment process in Abuzmar region. They are forcing even the minor boys and girls to become a part of the cadre. It is said that they were using minors as a shield as well as for collecting information.

It is said that they have even put up posters in Kanker as well as in Narayanpur districts of the state for the recruitment of new cadres. In this connection Rahul Bhagat Superintendent of police (SP), Kanker, said that the naxals generally hold recruitment campaign and even give advertisement in posters in this connection.

He further said that naxals were adopting new strategies to increase their numbers.

There are reports that the naxals have also asked the state government to close Rowghat as well as Chargaon steel projects in the state in their posters.
