Ludhiana: A five-member delegation from Chile is on a two-day visit to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) to explore collaborative areas for partnership.

The delegation members led by Ivan Ariel Matus Tejos, National Institute of Agri Research, Chile, held an interactive meet with farm scientists of PAU, an official release said.

The visiting delegation from Chile said that they would like to enter into maiden cooperation with India, especially PAU, through the exchange programme.

Chile is a successful country in terms of growth, food safety and poverty elimination, highlighted they, saying that a lot can be learnt through the joint collaboration in agricultural research and academics, the delegation members said.
