New Delhi, Jan 25 (Agencies): Delhiites were greeted with some chill which was back in the air on Tuesday morning in the national capital. The mercury dropped two degrees below normal and the city wore a blanket of mist in the early hours.

The low was recorded at 6.0 degree Celsius, two degrees less than normal at this time of the season. The minimum temperature yesterday was 7.4 degrees.

The maximum temperature was 22.6 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal, on Monday.

Delhi has experienced pleasant weather in the past few days with the mercury mostly remaining above normal level. A cover of mist was seen in the city early in the morning today which gave way to a mild sun as the day progressed.

The weatherman has predicted mist in the morning and mainly clear sky during the day tomorrow while the temperature is expected to be between 6 and 23 degree C.
The mean minimum for the month of January is 7.3 degree Celsius while the mean maximum is 21.1 degrees.
