The accused, Tariq Seikh, was later arrested by Delhi police after the victim lodged a complaint against him.

The 23-year-old victim, a Chinese national, who works as trainee executive for a firm in Gurgaon told police that she met the accused in a party at Malviya Nagar where they befriended each other and had alcohol.

The girl accused that Seikh encouraged her for a drink and later offered to drop her home in his car. However, he took the victim to his flat on some pretext, again made her drink alcohol, and sexually assaulted her when she was highly inebriated.

The victim said that Seikh threatened her of dire consequences if she dared to file a complaint against him.
