Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will embark on a nine-day visit to China starting September 12 with a twin aim of attending the World Economic Forum and exploring options of investment in his state.

Chouhan, who is scheduled to participate in the three-day World Economic Forum starting September 14 in Daliyan City, will leave for Hong Kong from New Delhi on September 11.

He will further proceed to Daliyan City from Hong Kong on September 12.

The Chief Minister will participate in the interactive session on September 14 to discuss the issues related to new trends in economic growth.

He will also share his views on the issue of food security and global economy, the next day.

A string of prominent business delegates, political leaders, scientists, economic experts and representatives of prominent companies from across the globe will participate in the Forum.

During his visit, Chouhan will also explore options of foreign investment in Madhya Pradesh.

In this regard, Chouhan will proceed to Bejing after the Forum on September 16. He will participate in the interactive sessions to discuss prospects of investment opportunities in MP.

Chouhan will return to New Delhi on September 21.
