The results were announced on May 17 last year. Hence, the students who appeared for the board exams this year are expecting the results by mid-May.

The results will be available on the official website of CISCE. The students will need to log on to or and fill their Index numbers followed by roll numbers or registration numbers in the related fields to get access to their mark-list.

Like last year, the council is expected to announce SMS service also for providing results on mobile phones.

The Council has brought remarkable changes in its evaluation system from this year by introducing several examination processes online. According to the Council, this will make the evaluation and examination procedures more transparent accurate and time saving. Besides, it will also fill the time gap between exams and results, the authorities said.

Lakhs of students had appeared for the ICSE examinations, conducted between March 3 and March 29 this year.

Last year, the pass percentage of ICSE was 98.20 percent. In India, the Southern region had the best performance with 99.66 percent of students clearing the exam in 2013. It was followed by the Western region (99.46 percent), Eastern region (98.02 percent) and Northern region (97.30 percent). The pass percentage of ICSE was 100 percent abroad.

The CISCE Board conducts two examinations in India and abroad- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) for class 10th and class 12th respectively.
