Delhi: Students waiting for ICSE Result or ISC Result can begin their celebrations! The CISCE Board has notified that it will be declaring the ICSE Result and ISC Result on 06 May 2016. Immediately after the ceremonial declaration of the CISCE Result, it will be available for the students at the official website of the Board i.e., www.cisce.org. Students can also get the latest updates on ICSE Board 10th and 12th results on icse10.jagranjosh.com and isc12.jagranjosh.com respectively.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts Board Exams every year to assess the performance of the students in secondary and higher secondary schools. This year near about 1.5 lakh students have appeared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Exam and almost 72,000 students for Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination. The students who have appeared for the examination can expect their CISCE Result on 06 May 2016.

In case, students are unaware of the result checking procedure; here are a few simple steps go check the ICSE Result / ICSE Result on the official website.

•    Go to the website www.cisce.org
•    Find and click on the link for ICSE 10th Result 2016 / ISC 12th Result 2016
•    Input relevant information like roll number, date of birth, etc in the submission form
•    Click ‘submit’
•    View the CISCE Result
•    Save the result in a printed form

Students can use the saved copy of the CISCE Result for Class 10th/ Class 12th till official documents in support of the examination is issued by the Board. The mark sheet obtained from result portals cannot be considered as official, so be sure to collect the original ICSE Result mark sheet and certificate.  
In 2015, the ICSE 10th Result and ISC 12th Result were declared on 18th May. The overall pass percentage for ICSE Result was 98.49% while for ISC Result the success ratio was 96.28%. Arkya Chatterjee from Kolkata topped the ISC exam with 99.75%, the top position in ICSE exam was shared by three students with 99.20%.
The declaration of ICSE Result 2016 and ISC Result 2016 will formally launch the admission season for senior secondary and undergraduate level courses, respectively. Therefore students who are awaiting their CISCE Result are advised to plan their career path beforehand. Many times it has been seen that due to lack of time and proper guidance, students either lose out submitting application forms or else get into wrong career track.
