"The CITU has decided to join the bandh because the bill is not only anti-farmer but also it is an attempt to snatch rights of the people who got them after years of struggle," CITU National General Secretary and MP Tapen Sen said at a press conference here.

He said that supporters of the CPI(M)'s labour wing would hit the streets to make the bandh successful.

The Modi government already firmed its foot on Land Bill. Left parties are opposing Land Bill, though Centre trying to make consensus.
