The rescue teams have been rushed to the site. They have reportedly rescued six people.

Ram Singh, one of the rescue team members said, “As soon as we reached the site, we saw a few people stuck because of the cloudburst. We had to travel around three hours to reach the village. After that, we helped people to cross the river. They are safe, but the place still is under the threat of another cloudburst."

Five bridges and many farms have been destroyed due to cloudburst, several people have gone missing and the area is still under the threat of cloudburst, he added.

In 2013, Uttarakhand was hit by devastating flood, killing around 5,000 locals, tourists and pilgrims.
