Lucknow: Although the police have sent a few officers and employees behind the bars, the investigations into the murder case of two Chief Medical Officer’s (CMO) in Lucknow seem to have lost direction. On October 27, Dr Vinod Arya was murdered and five months later on April 2, Dr BP Singh was killed.

It is being suspected that both the murders are related to each other and that if the murderer of Dr Arya were arrested, Singh would not have been killed. Despite the police being on their toes, the accused are still at large. However, they have managed to gather few clues and are trying to nail the culprits.

The Opposition is continuously mounting pressure on the government regarding the involvement of a minister, an MP and an MLA in the case. Special DG Law and Order Brjlal rejected the allegations of detention an MP, a MLC and a legislator in this connection.
