A poll was conducted by joint health brand Regenovex on 1,000 people aged 35 to 75, all with joint health problems.

They were questioned about their experiences with weather-related joint issues. Almost 72 percent of respondents said they suffered more from joint problems such as discomfort and stiffness because of the weather.

"Joint discomfort and joint health issues are a huge problem in the UK with millions of us struggling in silence," a website quoted independent nutritionist Emma Derbyshire as saying.

The survey also revealed that the knees are the most affected by cold weather, followed by back, fingers, hips, hands and neck.
