Candidates have been advised to retain a printed copy of their score card. CAT 2013 was conducted in 76 test centers across 40 cities over a 20-day testing window from October 16 to November 11, 2013.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has hosted the results of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013. The Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) decided to bring NIC as scorecards of many students were inflated last year, when a private company hosted the results.

CAT exam

The CAT 2013 had sections: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning.

These two sections had separate time limits. The examination duration was 140 minutes. Candidates only had 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section, which featured an on-screen countdown timer. Within the 70 minutes provided for the section, the candidates were asked to review the answers.

Once the students had moved to the second section of the test, they were no longer able to go back to the previous section even if they wanted to make some changes in it.
