“Everything, which has happened, is absolutely incorrect. A complaint by a politically motivated person, who is an active member of the BJP with absolutely no involvement, and none of the ingredients of any offence being satisfied, is being flaunted around,” said Singhvi while addressing a press conference here.

“It has no basis in law. Provisions of law are being ignored. Sensation is happening in the press. As I said, I am not discussing the merits in advance but you can be rest assured that we have much to say but only to the appropriate forum,” he added.

A Delhi court had last month issued summons to the Congress president and her son Rahul Gandhi on charges of misappropriating 15 million USD of party fund for their personal profits.
