New Delhi: A local court on Friday granted conditional bail to Delhi High Court blast accused Abid Hussain Bhawani to appear for his eleventh class examinations.

Meanwhile, the National Investigative Agency (NIA), which is investigating the case, on Friday continued examining criminals’ record in Kishtwar, the hometown of Abid.

According to sources, Abid’s counsel and family had claimed that in September 2011 when the attack took place, he was a minor .Therefore,  the NIA is searching for his birth certificate in Kishtwar.

On September 7, 2011, a powerful bomb had exploded outside the Delhi High Court. It killed 11 people while 76 other people were injured.

Initial investigations had revealed that an email was sent from a local internet cafe in Kishtwar, leading to the arrests of Abid and Aamir Abbas, who are accused in the case.

After interrogating Abid and Abbas, the investigation agency arrested another accused Wasim Akram Malik an MBBS student, from the Indo-Bangladesh border,

Three more accused - Junaid Akram, Amir Kamal and Chota Hafij are still absconding.
