Dehra: Himachal Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Wednesday fiercely targeted the UPA Government and Congress leaders. Addressing public meetings at Dehra, Jawali and Fatehpur in Kangra district, he said that the Congress and inflation are ‘twin sisters’ and whenever they come to power, they bring inflation as dowry.

Dhumal said that the Congress leaders are adept to tell a lie to voters and urged them to vote for BJP candidates and ensure their victory. He was addressing a public meeting in favor of BJP candidate Ramesh Dwala in Jawalamukhi Assembly Constituency.

He further added that the UPA Government is responsible for corruption and inflation. Dhumal urged the voters first to vote in favour of BJP in state assembly polls and later to extend their support in upcoming Lok Sabha elections to form government at the Center.

The Chief Minister said that both Dwala and Ravi are equal for the BJP. Hence, the voters should not give much importance to the name of the candidates, rather to vote in favor of the BJP in public interest.

Earlier in Jwali public meeting, Chief Minister Dhumal had accused Central Government of being biased against Himachal Pradesh government. He also said that the Congress has tasked a person, who is charging commission on apples in Delhi, to issue manifesto.

Despite the Standing Committee on Commerce recommendations against FDI, the UPA Government wants to bring FDI in retail sector under the pressure of brokers. FDI in the retail sector will affect the country's 50 million small and large traders said Dhumal.
